Nine unique block prints. The comfiest fall jacket.

It's funny that I'm writing this in the middle of a Bay Area heatwave. Prior days of gloomy weather, tomatoes ripening on the vine and piles of pumpkins at Trader Joe's make me feel so ready for the cozy sights, sounds and clothes of fall.

Our markets continue on through art and wine festival season, and the Marin Jacket has become such a staple, not only for me, but for the women who stop by the Devi stall. Besides our pajamas, it is the comfiest and most wearable silhouette in our line.

Growing up, the prints and colors of fall and winter were enticing (think houndstooth and gingham), but many women around me wore their paisley-printed, jewel-toned kurta pajamas and salwar kameez year-round, and with pride.

Six prints of the Marin reversible quilted block-print jacket

Prints shown: Midnight Gulab, Calcutta Noir, Rose Bagh, Heirloom Spring, Blue Courtyard, Raang Mahal.

The Marin Jacket is also an homage to that, with nine beautiful block-print designs to choose from. The reversible print gives you a fun block-printed option to dress up a neutral outfit, or the opposite: a warm neutral layer to wear on top of printed dresses or skirts.

How to wear it

  • Warmer weather: throw the Marin Jacket over a basic white or black T-shirt when the breeze kicks in (or when the A/C is too high at the dentist!).
  • Colder weather: style it with a gray or oatmeal turtleneck and thermal leggings or blue jeans, for gloomier days and fall leaf-gazing walks.

About the jacket: 100% quilted cotton, hand block-printed, fully reversible, front pockets on both sides, piping for subtle shape, split cuffs to show the reverse, lightweight and easy to layer. Size up for a cozy, more oversized fit.

We hope this block-print jacket brings you warmth and comfort as we head into colder weather. One of a kind, and absolutely timeless.
